Isofix Base
All the Maserati vehicles are equipped with ISOFIX anchoring system, a value added in terms of child safety and practicality. Using the ISOFIX Base, the child seat can be securely fitted to the vehicle and easily removed by means of the button provided at the front. It is furthermore equipped with a height-adjustable floor mount.
Group 0+ and Group 1 seats are part of a modular system that allows you to use the same ISOFIX base for all children up to 4 years of age.
With this solution, the Child seat is easier to handle and lighter. Both systems come equipped with Side Impact Protection (SIP+), a special bumper system that, in the event of collision, protects from side impacts and reduces the load on the child's neck and head. This modular system has been designed to save space within the passenger compartment and at the same time provide more space for the children's legs as they grow up.
